cadejo "I'd like to get into the jazz classics," i resolved to myself at the beginning of the year. then i came across Weasel Walter and Martin Escalante. Each time i listen to the latter, I can't help imagining how its performance would look like. Escalante manages to bend the sounds of alto sax into a different, granulated& electronic texture. The frayed edges of jazz demonstrated herein seem like a very solid starting point for the classics. Favorite track: Chop Party.
